Surfer Hearts

I first saw these @ Fabulist.org, who raved about their style.  They come in either metal ball chains or leather straps, necklace style or choker.  The leather cords seem to be the best.  They give it a more classic look.

Fun fact: Leather straps were once used in NYC subway trains to let people hang on to the train while they were standing.  Nowadays, they use a horizontal, metallic bar.  Read more @ Wikipedia.
